Do you ever have a song or music that you just cannot get out of your mind?

This past Sunday our opening hmm was one of my most favorite and one of those that makes me feel the most emotional. Here it is Wednesday and the tune and words are still rattling in my brain and soul. The refrain, He has done marvelous things. I, too, will praise him with a new song!,chokes me up and brings tears to my eyes because those words reminds me to give blessing for all the marvelous things in my life. How grateful I am to God for the life, the family, the friends and community I have.

Earth and all stars, loud rushing planets, sing to the Lord a new song.

O victory, loud shouting army, sing to the Lord a new song.

He has done marvelous things, I, too, will praise him with a new song.

Hail, wind, and rain, loud blowing snowstorms, sing to the Lord a new song.

Flowers and trees, loud rustling dry leaves, sing to the Lord a new song.

He has done marvelous things, I, too, will praise him with a new song.

Engine and steel, loud pounding hammers, sing to the Lord a new song.

Limestone and beams, loud building workers, sing to the Lord a new song.

He has done marvelous things. I, too, will praise him with a new song.

Classrooms and labs, loud boiling test tubes, sing to the Lord a new song.

Athlete and band, loud cheering people, sing to the Lord a new song.

He has done marvelous things, I, too, will praise him with a new song.

Marvelous Indeed.
