Parish Notes - May 10, 2018
This Sunday is Mother's Day. I am blessed to have a mom whom I love and cherish and I know that I am very fortunate in this regard. Many do not have such a positive relationship with their mothers. In our prayers we will acknowledge this because I think it's important to do. We will pray:
"We pray for mothers we love and mothers we struggle to love. For adoptive mothers, stepmothers, and foster mothers. For those who long to be mothers. For everyone who has mothered us in the faith. Give rest, healing, wisdom, and strength, mothering God. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer."
We're also trying something new: three mothers/grandmother will share how their faith influences their motherhood. They will do this at both services. Thank you Abby Mathewson, Lynn Reed, and Deb Haines for agreeing to speak. May we be blessed by what you will say.

The Goffstown Community Clothing Center announces a Mothers Day Sale! On Saturday, May 11 from 10 a.m. - 12 noon, all mothers will get 50% off their entire purchase. Stop in for gently used clothing, housewares, books, and toys. For more information about the CCC, see

The trailer is scheduled to arrive May 15!
The Outreach Committee hopes that you have been spring cleaning and setting aside boxes of household items in good condition for the annual Yard & Bake Sale on June 2 from 8am-1pm. Volunteers are needed 6am-2pm. Sign-ups will be available soon.

Open House
Nancy and Lynn invite parishioners to an open house on Sunday afternoon May 20th. Drop by anytime between 1-4pm. 75 Hamblet Street in Manchester. 802-738-9087 (Nancy's cell if lost).  No house warming gifts. Please come bless us with your presence.

One Volunteer Needed at the CCC
A person is needed as a Key Person (shift leader) on the 2nd Thursday of each month 3-5pm.  The Key Person opens, handles the cash sales and justifies the money, supervises the volunteers and closes. Training and support are provided.
Please contact the office or Sharon or Joan Alayne for more information. Thank you!
Save the Date - Mass on the Grass - June 3, 10am

Bring a chair or blanket to settle in for outdoor worship and giving thanks to our acolytes and many ministries. Immediately following we will continue with a picnic.  Feel free to bring something for the grill and a dish to share and bathing suits and towels for those who wish to swim!
Clark's Residence: 6 Bedford Rd. New Boston NH
Directions: Take Route 13 to New Boston, turn left before the gas station, go to the top of the hill and you are there. Please park in the field, not along the road.
